Abby removed the wrapping paper cautiously. She knew Robbie of old. Lord knows what he had bought her for her birthday.
Her mouth gaped wide.
‘Turkish slippers?’ she exclaimed regarding the curled-up toes and gaudy beadwork with horror. ‘ Where did you get these?’
‘ At the car boot sale, sis. They were cheaper than the wrapping paper..’ Robby replied proudly.
