ADAM’S APPLE

Daisy peeked fearfully through her fingers at the stage.

' I don't like the wicked witch, Jake. She's so mean an' ugly.'

' It's a man Daisy. Look at his throat, Women don't have Adam's Apples.'

Pacified and bolder Daisy replied,

' Spec he's ugly cuz he ate the apple then, and cuz he didn't chew it .'an’ it’s stuck in his throat.’
