Jake was disgusted.

' I give up on that mutt, Robbie. You can tell it's a girl dog.'

'Why's that? asked Robbie.

' Well yesterday, next door's cat came into our garden an' I thought sparks would fly. Couldn't wait to see ol' Beckham in action 'gainst 'is natrul enemy.'

' What happened?'

' E let the stupid moggie eat 'is dinner,. that's what!'
