SUMMER LOVE

A hunchback

moon plays hide and seek

with purple clouds as they

skitter across a twilit,

star-studded sky

A chill breeze

flutters small wavelets

at our feet as we stroll

entwined along the shore,

wrapped in summer love

Far beyond the reef

fishing boats glide on

silver beams into

the distant harbour.

Seized by the moment,

we utter no words

but sink on amber,

sun-warmed sand

caressing. exploring

and feverishly storing

these fleeting memories
